Data Deletion — Carapace Capital Ltd

You can request deletion of your account, all connected social media tokens, and any associated personal data at any time. We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation by email.

How to request deletion

Send a deletion request by email
Email privacy@carapace.capital with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your BotOffice account.

We verify your identity
We will send a confirmation to your registered email address to verify the request is genuine — protecting you from unauthorised deletion.

We delete your data
Within 30 days we permanently delete your account, all OAuth tokens for connected social media accounts, scheduled post content, media, and any other personal data. You will receive a confirmation email when done.

What gets deleted

Your BotOffice account (email address, hashed password)
All connected social media accounts and their OAuth tokens — Meta/Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky
Scheduled and published post content and uploaded media
Display names, profile pictures, and account identifiers retrieved from social platforms

What we retain after deletion

Billing records are retained for 7 years as required under Cyprus accounting law. These contain only transaction amounts and dates — no social media account data or OAuth tokens.

Anonymised server access logs may be retained for up to 30 days beyond the deletion date.

Disconnecting a single platform

To remove one social media connection without deleting your account: log in to post.botoffice.io, go to Settings → Channels, and disconnect the account. The OAuth token for that platform is permanently deleted immediately.
