Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BotOffice ("the Service") at post.botoffice.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Carapace Capital Ltd, HE 483413, Cyprus ("Carapace", "we", "us").

2. The Service

BotOffice is a social media post scheduling platform that allows authenticated users to connect social media accounts and schedule content for publication. The Service is provided as-is to business users and professionals.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

Access to BotOffice is by invitation only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@carapace.capital if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Your Obligations

When using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Comply with the terms of service of any social media platform you connect
  • Ensure you have the right to publish any content you schedule through the Service
  • Not share your account credentials with third parties

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Publish spam, misleading content, or content that violates applicable laws
  • Harass, defame, or harm any person or entity
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service in a way that violates Meta's Platform Terms, or the developer policies of any connected social media platform

6. Third-Party Platforms

The Service connects to third-party social media platforms (including Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, and Bluesky) via their official APIs. Your use of connected platforms is subject to their own terms of service. We are not responsible for changes to platform APIs or policies that affect the availability of features.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans (where available) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe, Inc. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Failure to pay will result in suspension of your account until outstanding charges are settled.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload or schedule through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Carapace a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

The BotOffice application interface, branding, and any original code we develop are owned by Carapace Capital Ltd. The underlying Postiz platform is open-source software licensed under the AGPL-3.0 licence.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that posts will be published at exactly the scheduled time (this is subject to platform API availability).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carapace Capital Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including lost profits, lost data, or reputational damage.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@carapace.capital. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if required to do so by law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also retain the benefit of mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
